SPORT BIOGRAPHY

 

Alexandra has been competing on the international snowboard scene since the age of 11. Over the years, she has practiced and competed in all snowboard disciplines, but since 2000, she has specialized in Snowboard Cross – the youngest, fastest-growing, and most spectator-friendly discipline.

She is a multiple titleholder from European and World Championships, as well as World Cups – part of the International Ski Federation (FIS) calendar. Alexandra is a finalist at the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi 2014 and PyeongChang 2018, as well as a medalist at the prestigious Winter X Games in the USA.

Between 2003 and 2018, Alexandra was a thirteen-time National Champion of Bulgaria.

She ranked in the top 10 of the Snowboard Cross World Cup 67 times – an achievement no other Bulgarian athlete in this discipline has matched. After her first World Cup victory, Alexandra received a general sponsorship offer from First Investment Bank.

Throughout her journey, she has been supported by many kind people and fans. Until the end of her competitive career, she remained loyal to her partners in success: the Bulgarian Ski Federation, the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Olympic Committee, and her sponsors: Fibank, Audi, A1, Generali, Burton Snowboards - Drop In Shop, Drag Bicycles, Tag Heuer, Go Pro.

Experience

As one of the most recognizable figures in Bulgarian winter sports, Alexandra is a leader and an inspiration, actively engaged in social campaigns that promote a conscious, active, and healthy lifestyle.

She has international experience as a brand ambassador for various companies.

Currently, Alexandra is a practicing coach certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), a sports psychologist, and a member of the European Association of Sport Psychologists, as well as a trainee therapist at DPP Bulgaria.

She supports the development of Bulgarian snowboarding by mentoring the younger generations.

Over the past three years, she has successfully managed and developed her private practice, working actively with athletes across various sports and young entrepreneurs.
